OEX Cursor: Reporting applications increase the effectiveness of sales support projects

  • Knowledge base

Actions from the area of shopper marketing and audits at points of sale are increasingly supported by technology. Advanced reporting applications provide instant access to data from implemented actions, allowing to monitor their effects more effectively.

Mobile reporting systems are used to gather in one place all information - including graphic information - on projects carried out in the field, often very geographically dispersed. They allow you to run work plans for regional teams, collect data on the course of campaigns, use of POS materials, amount of sales or product prices. They also support the implementation of advanced Mystery Shopper surveys. The scope of collected information is flexibly adjusted to the specifics of a given project and client expectations.

We have developed a proprietary reporting application for the needs of our projects. We use the tool during field projects for WWF, companies from the FMCG and white goods industry, and a major tobacco company, among others. Customers have access to data in real time, which allows them to react in real time to information from points of sale, such as product availability or competitors' actions

- Przemysław Bogdanski, a member of the board of OEX Cursor, says.

The reporting systems also improve communication with field structure implementing projects. The solution developed by OEX Cursor enables, among other things, distribution of training materials, information on sales targets or the amount of wages earned by promotional staff. Individuals involved in project via application can contact superiors and on an ongoing basis to clarify issues regarding work schedule or the level of achieved goal. Reporting systems work especially well for long-term campaigns with promoters, sales consultants, hostesses and brand ambassadors.

Our reporting applications are increasingly integrated with customer systems. They include a geolocation option, which makes it possible to determine precisely which outlet the information pertains to. The data is properly secured and shared according to the system of authorizations agreed with the client, it also meets the criteria imposed by the RODO directive

- Zbigniew Puchała, Account Director of OEX Cursor, adds.
