How much does an advertising campaign cost?

  • Knowledge base

Every manufacturer entering the market, but also an entrepreneur who has been in business for a long time, dreams of gaining and constantly expanding sales reach. This ultimately involves increasing revenues to the company's coffers. Among other things, this is what various types of marketing activities are used for. What is an advertising campaign? It is a large-scale activity, often taking place in mass media, aimed at achieving precisely defined marketing objectives. How much does an advertising campaign cost? The answer is not simple, but we will try to dispel all doubts!

The cost of an advertising campaign

There are many factors to consider when planning any advertising campaign. The most important ones are the purpose of conducting the campaign, its timing, scope and potential audience. Only by determining the condition related to these issues do we get a complete picture of the actions that will be taken to make the right impression on the consumer. Money should never be the main, and certainly not the only, factor that should guide us. It is good practice in the industry to define the upper, impassable limit of the cost of an advertising campaign. Then the agency preparing the project knows when it will approach the limits of the company's wallet.

For this, it is impossible to precisely set a minimum budget, because doing a campaign for "a few zlotys" can often simply miss the point. The goals will not be achieved and the expected results will not appear. Instead, there will be frustration and disappointment about having to pay extra to implement the plan. And nobody likes that. The "how much can we afford" method will not really allow to assess the real potential of the activities in the slightest. Rather, success will be a matter of chance.

One way to determine the cost of an election campaign, especially if we are just starting out, is also to take a look at the activities of our competitors. An analysis of the costs incurred at our market rivals will give an idea of the method and scope of activities included in an advertising campaign. "Suspicion of the competition", however, is not a particularly effective way to determine the price of an advertising campaign.

Promotional campaign budget

This is actually the entire cost associated not only with the implementation of the advertising campaign itself, but also the design and conceptual work on the appropriate timing, purpose and recipient of the activities in question. The cost of a promotional campaign depends on so many factors that it is even difficult to determine. Very loosely one would have to start calculations from 2-3 thousand zlotys for detailed preparations for the start of the work. The cost of the main phase of the implementation of an advertising campaign should never be closed. This is because it may always be necessary to involve additional funds. All this in order to achieve the assumed marketing goal, which has a direct impact on brand recognition and sales results. And ultimately, it is through good results that advertising budgets can grow. After all, nothing pleases an entrepreneur more than growing posts.
