Cursor supports AkzoNobel sales activities
Cursor from OEX Group continues cooperation with AkzoNobel company, owner of the following brands: Dulux, Nobiles, Sadolin or Hammerite. The agreement covers campaigns in more than 200 locations in Poland. Cooperation included supporting sales of AkzoNobel paints in international DIY retail chains: Castorama, Leroy Merlin, Obi and Praktiker.
This was another season of joint promotional campaigns. The first projects for the manufacturer of paints and varnishes were organised more than 10 years ago. In 2008, Cursor was fully responsible for consulting and merchandising activities of AkzoNobel in DIY retail stores across Poland. Additionally, within the last 5 years, Cursor completed several dozens of accompanying projects in the area of sales support.
AkzoNobel products are present in a hundreds of POS in the entire country and the product portfolio lists several dozens of positions. This is why comprehensive sales support is so important.
Cursor – as part of its cooperation with AkzoNobel – was additionally responsible for:
- several dozens of sales events,
- “mystery shopper” events in several hundreds of DIY supermarkets and retail POS across Poland,
- products exchange and co-packing,
- mailing survey of construction companies,
- support of warehouse services and management,
- production of sales support materials.
“The industry sector of AkzoNobel is extremely interesting and demanding. Fierce competition on the market forces paint manufacturers to seek solutions that guarantee the product message effectively reaches the customer. This is precisely what Cursor offers. This year, similar to previous years, efficiency of campaigns executed for AkzoNobel was at 100% despite sales targets set at an ever increasing level and economic slowdown. We are one of the few companies that is able to provide support at POS across the entire Poland. We are glad that our experience and flexibility results in subsequent largely expanded agreements,” said Zbigniew Puchała, Account Manager of Cursor.
The service of AkzoNobel brands is performed by an extensive field force of Cursor which includes a central distribution centre and four regional warehouses. There are 200 people involved in this project.
Cursor specialises in the organisation of non-standard sales projects. In July 2012, the company – for the second time – executed the project called Miasteczka Nałęczowianka [The Towns of Nałęczowianka] at the international cycling race Tour de Pologne. Within seven days, the stands were visited by more than 50,000 of supporters of the event. Cursor client portfolio includes: Ruch SA, Nestle Waters or Coty.
