Cursor found a niche on the TFL market
Cursor expanded its portfolio of logistic services with sea and aviation transport and shipping. The outsourcer is one of the few companies on the market to provide services of import, export and transit of goods imported or sent abroad together with complementary services, including storage, co-packing and delivering a single product to the end user.
Cursor’s international TFL service guarantees organisation of transport of cargo by sea and air transport in the door to door or port to port systems from/to any location in the world. The offer includes all types of freight shipping: full container load (FCL), less-than-container load (LCL), bulk and aviation cargo.
The service includes arrangement of customs clearance under traditional, simplified, fiscal procedures in Polish as well as European ports (including Frankfurt, Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Rotterdam).
Additionally, companies can use the possibility of reloading and distribution of goods between the port/airport and the final address of the delivery, service and consulting on the preparation of port documentation and storage. Cursor offering also includes cargo insurance, goods inspection at customs clearances and inspections, veterinary and phytosanitary control together with the management of the market authorisation procedure. The broadest option enables the client to order co-packing of goods imported to Poland, distribution to end users home or abroad and recording of sales for tax purposes.
Introduction of the new service is a consequence of the strategy of Cursor which aims to offer customers the most comprehensive service of business processes available. In this case, the undisputed competitive advantage is that in addition to the organisation of transport and the related formalities we are able to offer complementary services which present added value to the basic scope of cooperation with our company, said Artur Wojtaszek, President of the Management Board of Cursor SA, OEX Group.
Cursor has a network of international agents all over the world. Currently, the company’s resources allow to offer cargo services in China, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, Lesser Asia, Australia, New Zealand, India, the Middle East, Africa, the US and Canada. Our international partner network will be systematically expanded. Currently, the TFL services of Cursor are used by several dozens of companies from sectors such as white and brown goods, interior design, companies importing groceries from Asia (oriental cuisine), electronics and LED lighting and medical and laboratory equipment imported under NFZ [National Health Fund] contracts. The outsourcer also provides seasonal services for importing motorcycles, bikes and spare parts.
A large group of Cursor clients which use our warehouse logistic services are importers and exporters of goods. International logistic services enabled us to expand the scope of our cooperation. At the same time, thanks to introducing the new portfolio of services from a different market sector we acquired many business partners, said Rafał Kopania, Manager at Sea&Air TFL at Cursor.
The TFL team at Cursor includes employees with more than ten years of experience in the sector. The advantage of an outsourcer is its high flexibility in managing the extent of cooperation – the client may delegate only part or all tasks related to logistics. Concentration of the entire process under one structure facilitates the management and supervision of the contract and at the same time enables to reduce costs. All the processes are implemented in direct cooperation with service providers such as airport and sea lines.
